After an intense week of storms here in Southern California the Malibu Creek broke open and dumped enough sand into the cove at Surfrider's to turn the smallest offseason South swell into flawless dredging mini waves..thats about a foot of water over a perfect sandbar. Occasionally a waist or chest high set might come through and some lucky (and likely frozen) surfer got the ride of the season. For all her hustle and bustle Malibu sure does reward the persistent.
pray for rain!
