300mm Test Run at Ocean Beach

With the recent acquisition of an 80's era zoom lens I've been chomping at the bit for one of those semi rare bluebird days at Ocean Beach.  Where the wind is offshore, the air is clear and the surf is pumping.  When all the elements collide there are moments ripe for the capture.  Having the the glass to see it go down is a great pleasure.  While the luxury of digital has it's appeal, the price tag for equipment is almost novel.  There is certain satisfaction to be gained by achieving for so little what many seek with so much.  More to come from behind the fog and under the fleeting sun.
