These spots are easily visible from the road, there is even a nice little lot to pull into and contemplate paddling out. I wont lie, I mind surfed these waves. I actually didn't even think about paddling out. Jagged rocks lined the "beach" and dotted the inside. It was about 45 degrees outside without the chill of offshore winds. Water temps were a chilly 52 degrees. No humans around for miles in any direction and being smack dab in the middle of the red triangle all added up to very good reasons to enjoy the waves photographically.
